Yes. We offer maintenance and service contracts for all Geysir appliances. Our service team is available throughout Germany.
Thermal disinfection in a bedpan washer is a method based on the intense heating of the items to be disinfected using steam — for example, care equipment such as bedpans, stool buckets, and urine bottles. The effect of the steam reduces the bacterial count on the surface of the utensils to a level that makes the transmission of infection unlikely. In an automatic cleaning and disinfection device (CDD) such as the GEYSIR bedpan washer, the objects are disinfected with steam and heat for a defined holding time. The disinfecting effect on pathogens can be determined using the A0 value – it mathematically relates the exposure temperature and holding time.
The A0 value defines the intensity of thermal disinfection and thus the inactivation of pathogenic microorganisms. The GEYSIR series offers maximum flexibility in this regard and can be adjusted to meet specific needs. With a value ranging from 600 to 3000 in accordance with the standard, it ensures proper disinfection of care utensils—regardless of the risk class to which the respective items are assigned.
