On 13 September 2025, an era came to an end in Damp: the 25th and, sadly, last Schleswig-Holstein Central Sterile Services Hygiene Forum took place. For a quarter of a century, the forum was a fixture for professionals in the field of central sterilisation and hygiene technology. What began many years ago with a clear vision developed into a renowned platform for exchange, knowledge transfer and innovation.
The forum was at its best again in its anniversary year. High-calibre presentations, practical discussions and an extensive industry exhibition once more offered participants a varied and informative programme. The event once again reflected the importance of topics such as hygiene, quality assurance and technical standards in everyday medical practice.
Special thanks go to Wolfgang Christ, who has shaped the ZSVA Hygiene Forum over the years with his tireless commitment and professional passion. He was not only the organiser, but also the source of ideas and the driving force behind the event, and he succeeded in establishing an event of national relevance. Without him, the forum would not have become what it was: a place of encounter, learning and further development.
We wish Wolfgang Christ all the best for the future, above all good health, happiness and many fulfilling moments. His dedication will remain unforgotten in professional circles.
